Core based exercises help to improve strength around your pelvis, lower back, hips and abdomen to help to work better together which in turn can improve your balance & stability. It can also be beneficial in reducing lower back pain and improving your overall function.
You don’t need fancy equipment to strengthen your core, some basic but effective exercises include the plank / bridge / single leg bridge / dead bug / clam.
